Director of Worship: First United Methodist Church of Saline is seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified and dependable candidate to serve as our Director of Worship. We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit and an authentic presence in worship as they lead. The Director will recruit, develop, equip and lead all aspects of worship. Candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Degree (Bachelors or Masters), training, or certification in music ministry or a related field, are appreciated. Skills in selecting and adapting both traditional hymns and contemporary music are a must. They are expected to collaborate with the pastor and program staff in church-wide and community ministries throughout the year.

In addition, we are seeking team players to join our Children and Student Ministry department to lead programs for faith formation. The following positions could be separate or combined for the right person. Must be 18+.
Children’s Ministry Coordinator: Facilitate Sunday morning Christian Education, lead summer Vacation Bible School, and assist with special events for our families. Focus is age 4 through grade 6. Currently 12 hours a week with potential for growth and some remote hours.
Student Ministry Coordinator: Assist with our Sunday night student ministry program/worship for grades 7-12, monthly special events, fundraisers, and annual summer trips. 12 hours a week with potential for some remote hours.
