Day Two: House 28 and Grace UMC

Today we split into four teams. Cheryl, Kaitie, and Tammy gardened at Grace UMC all day. It's not the typical garden. It's ginormous and on a hill. Cheryl and Kaitie uncovered a patio at the top level that we didn't even know existed. They carried tarps full to the back of the shed many times. Dick, Ed, and Paul finished up the porch and ramp. Still need two more boards. So close. Carl, Sharon, Dick, and Carolyn almost completed pulling electrical wire upstairs. Carl uncovered smelly raccoon urine infested insulation which unfortunately fell directly on him and he wore it for the rest of the day. The electrical team continued with work on the lower level finishing installation of the plugs. Bruce, Joe, and Paul sanded the lower level walls and ceilings. They installed two panels of drywall on the second floor ceiling. In the evening we were treated by Mike and Sylvia to a fresh fish dinner from Peterson's. We sat out downtown on a deck and ate together and debriefed. Early this morning two key members, B and Carlos had to return home unexpectedly. We carried on but we sure miss them here.
